§ 10-7. Care of grounds and property generally.

  • (a)

    The city shall perpetually care for and maintain all roads, walks, pathways, grass, grounds, shrubbery and improvements belonging to the municipal cemetery.

    (b)

    All lot or grave section owners shall care for and maintain all monuments, mausoleums and markers erected on their respective lots or grave sections and existing shrubs, flowers, trees and other plants which require special maintenance.

    (c)

    All work and special care other than that which is done by the owner will be performed by the city and paid for at the rates set out the city's fee schedule. No city employee will receive any money or other fee or consideration for any services performed in or upon the municipal cemetery; all fees and considerations for special services will be paid to the city at the business office of the cemetery.
