§ 21-21. Fires.

  • (a)

    No person shall make a fire for any purpose in any public park, unless the fire is contained in a designated firepit, firebox or designated fireplace located within the park.

    (b)

    All fires must be extinguished so that ashes are cool to the touch when fire is not in use. Portable fireboxes may be brought into the park, provided ashes are not dumped onto the ground after use. Ashes must be extinguished and placed in designated refuse receptacles.
